M. Henry

Not only considered THE best brunch spot, but they also serve breakfast all day long. The menu features a wide variety of options, but their pancakes really seem to take the cake for everyone. Fair warning – they do not accept reservations so plan to show up a bit early to grab a table.

3 Squares Diner

A modern twist on the classic America diner, 3 Squares does not disappoint. If you’re feeling adventurous check out their coconut mushroom gravy, it’s sure to wake up you and your taste buds too!

Ann Sather

Three Locations | Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm, Saturday & Sunday 7:00am – 4:00pm

Have a sweet tooth? Look no further than the most famous cinnamon rolls in Chicago. The original Ann Sather has been in business since the 40’s, so you know everything they’re serving up is ah-mazing. And with three locations, there is bound to be one close to wherever you are staying.

Have you ever had a torta? If you have, you have got to check out Xoco’s. If you haven’t, then you REALLY have to check out Xoco’s. They also have an entire section of the menu dedicated solely to chocolate …yes, please!

Manny’s Cafeteria & Delicatessen

Open for over seven decades, this deli is still the place to go for corned beef or pastrami sandwiches. It recently underwent a renovation, but other than some new fittings little else has changed in this old school deli. Rumor has it that even President Obama stops by when he is in town!

GT Fish and Oyster

531 N Wells St. | Brunch Saturday & Sunday 10:00am – 2:30pm | Sunday – Thursday 5:00pm – 10:00pm | Friday & Saturday 5:00pm – 11:00pm

Rated as one of the top 20 seafood restaurants in the US, with the 2011 Chef of the Year, you would think GT’s would break the bank. However, GT’s is shockingly affordable. If you are in the mood for seafood after the conference, this is the place to check out.

No trip to Chicago would be complete without a taste of deep dish pizza. The restaurant that everyone says to try? Giordano’s! You can even get a heart-shaped deep dish pizza if you are with that special someone at the conference!

A good burger is always a good idea, and at Acadia you truly can’t go wrong with anything at this two Michelin starred restaurant. Their tasting menu is also out of this world if you are craving something a little more unique. Either way…go wild!

With a beer list that’s a mile long, and a cocktail list to rival there is truly a drink for everyone at Hopleaf. This establishment is on the larger side, so grab some friends and head over for a good time. Just don’t have too good of time before any of those early mornings.

Green Mill

Want to feel like you’re back in the 20’s hanging with Al Capone? Then check out The Green Mill. Although nowadays there might not be any gangsters lurking around, word on the street is they have great taste in music, so at least there’s that.

Sky Deck

Enjoy views from the top? Check out the city’s famous skyline from the Sky Deck at the Willis Tower. For over 25 years it was the tallest building in the world, and is still no small feat.

Buckingham Fountain

Centered in Grant Park is the famous Buckingham Fountain. Built in 1927, it is famous for its beautiful pink marble. The four pairs of seahorses are said to represent the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Indiana.
